Centimeter is a site-specific installation in which a false gallery wall is built into the back of the gallery space. the wall extends outward two feet, and holes punched into the drywall reveal midwestern artifacts, hand printed wallpaper, party hats and enigmatic lighting. the work suggests a hidden world beneath the gallery, while referencing architectural renovation, medieval reliquaries and absurdist spaces.
